This is what it looks like to race @comradesmarathon from the start to the finish! I stuck to my plan and I ran my heart out until I crossed the line in 6h15, running an average pace of 4:08/km. I promised myself before the race that I will give my all, and I did. And for that I am proud. This race is like nothing I’ve ever experienced and I will never ever ever stop until I’ve won it. And even then I still won’t stop!! #theultimatehumanrace #neverstop #asijiki

Comrades doesn't have water bottles or cups of water on the course. Instead they have pouches that you can grab on the run and then rip open with your teeth. Xolani Luvuno started running his @comradesmarathon at 12:30am. He has just completed 90.18km on crutches, unsupported. Born with bone cancer, Xolani unfortunately had his leg amputated. Comrades has always been a dream for him and didn’t want his amputation to take that dream away from him. Joining him today was Hein Venter who cycled and ran next to Xolani from when he started this morning. They finished in 16:18:59. What incredible men!
