The Pink Xtreme Trail Run 2022

Nestled within a natural amphitheater shaped by the vertical cliffs of the spectacular Simonsberg Mountain, lies Vrede en Lust Estate – home to the wines produced and bottled by the Buys-family.

On the 29th of October 2022 the farm will be hosting their seventh annual Pink Xtreme Trail Run to help raise funds for CANSA during Cancer Awareness month.

Last year we were able to raise R170 000 for CANSA and this year we hope to increase that number by at least R20 000.

Runners on the 21km and 10km trail will run a challenging but beautiful trail through the old forestry towards the mountain with some of the most spectacular views on offer in the Paarl / Franschhoek region.

The 5km route will meander through the vineyards at Vrede and Lust.

You are welcome to walk the 5km and 10km routes but please do not walk the 21 km.

The Lust restaurant under new management by Ed Saunders will make sure that great meals are served. The stunning wines of Vrede en Lust will again be on offer as well as other refreshments such as beer and cool drinks.
